Getting to Know Spirals (Episode 4 of 5)

Today, the author of Spirals, The Game of Power will give us details about the journey so far and how he has prepared for the launch. Let's get to it!
Tell us about those first steps in publishing. Once the novel was finished, what was the process like for publishing Spirals? What lessons did you learn navigating the world of publishing and self-publishing?
When I finished writing Spirals, I relaxed. I needed a short break from that five-month writing marathon. It wasn't a long pause, just a couple of weeks. When I returned to Spirals, I knew we had several challenges to face. The first and most important: editing. Spirals changed quite a bit from the first manuscript to the final version. The second challenge, which I tackled in parallel, was figuring out how to get Spirals to the people I wrote it for. Basically, the path splits between traditional publishers and self-publishing. Since this is my first book, or at least the first one that will be published, I decided (like any good self-taught person) to explore everything involved in self-publishing (editing, layout, art and design, marketing, etc.). I love those kinds of challenges. I come from that background. I've learned several things from self-publishing, but I think the biggest lessons will come when the book is finally released on December 5, 2025, through Amazon.
Regarding the Reader's reaction: What kind of comments or interpretations do you expect?
I hope that Spirals will seduce the reader, captivate them, and that at the end of the story they will leave with the feeling of having read something more than just a good story. I would love for the transformations of its protagonists to, at the very least, touch their soul and resonate with the idea that we can all be more than we are, and that evolution and resilience will open the doors to many new adventures.
